Esquestrian Manager

JOB SUMMARY
Manage the management of horses and all animals including daily maintenance, acquisition and placement, and health care, as well as preparing and monitoring the budget. Assists in the development, planning and supervision of the volunteer program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
➢ Equestrian Knowledge (minimum 10 years).
➢ Must be able to pass a background & drug screen.
➢ Must have atleast an intermediate level of riding.
➢ Experience with barrels, teaching (kids, teens, & adults), pole bending, or any activities that may include a horse, etc…).
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
➢ Works under the moderate to general supervision of the Stables Manager.
➢ Exercises supervision over animal caretakers.
➢ Be able to work with minimal supervision.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
➢ Must be able to work in various weather conditions (as needed).
➢ Must be able to lift atleast 50 lbs.
➢ Must be available at all times for all events and/or functions at the Stable.
➢ Must have dependable transportation.
➢ Must be able to drive a truck with a horse trailer.
